I want to tell you about the meaning behind the piece “Free Spirit” artwork after the Norwegian singer Ina Wroldsen shared her story when she got stalked a night out in London. For me personally, I want to start owning again the feeling of me being a free spirit and stop worrying about everything around me. I miss feeling safe walking outside without looking over my shoulder every 3rd second. I do understand the importance of taking precautions but right now I feel it has been too extreme. I do have my reasons and I previously mentioned a few of them on my Instagram. The singer mentioned that it’s time for women to share their stories when hearing the horrible news after the remains of Sarah Everard (33) were found in Kent, London in 2021. She also said: “I think it’s incredibly important that we start talking about this. So if someone spies on you as a 14-year-old in a shower wardrobe, or follows you in a group on the way home from school, it is no longer written off as “boy pranks. We have to talk to our children, and we have to talk to each other.”
